Leading Home Care: Experts in home health care business strategy and leadership development

The Academy for Home Care Leadership

Who are the most competent managers you know in home health care? What are the important characteristics that make them most competent? What characteristics would you most like to develop in your middle and upper level managers?

Based on significant research that began in 1999, the Academy for Home Care Leadership is designed to address a significant gap that exists in our industry...the lack of bench strength at the executive level of many home care companies.  This research resulted in identifying the top ten characteristics of the most effective home care executives.  These top ten characteristics form the basis for a body of expertise that has been developed and is continuing to grow.  This expertise will be provided to the home care industry in several unique ways that will transform the way home care executives learn and grow.

These are the questions we asked dozens of top home care executives across the country in our efforts to understand what makes great leaders in home care. The answers to these questions make up the curriculum of the Academy for Home Care Leadership. This new and innovative approach to leadership development sets the benchmark for growing executives in home care. The high-value content is available in several formats:

The Executive Academy

This is a two and one half-day intensive executive development retreat. Enrollment in the Executive Academy is restricted to senior level executives only, and the enrollment for each academy session is limited to 25 participants. Click on the link to see if you qualify to participate.
