Learn How to Find and Keep Employees from the Top 100 Places to Work in America ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Each year FORTUNE Magazine publishes a list of the
100 best companies to work for. This year, there are
ten companies out of 100 that are healthcare
providers. There are also eight other healthcare
related companies on the list. The ten healthcare companies are:
On the top of the list - #1 is Google. Some of the things Google provides its employees are free meals, a swimming spa, and free doctors onsite. Google gets 1,300 resumes a day. Here are some of the things the ten healthcare providers in the Top 100 do for their employees:
There are also some economic benefits that these Top 100 employers provide:
In spite of benefits and bonuses, several healthcare providers were judged to be great places to work because of the quality of care they provide. Griffin Hospital in Connecticut is known for providing exceptional patient service. Baptist Healthcare Pensacola is focused on its mission of providing superior service based on Christian values, and their "no secrets" policy of communication. The message is that there is no one right way to attract and retain employees, but these Top 100 employers have found innovative ways to understand their employees needs and wants. They have developed innovative strategies to create the kind of place where healthcare workers really want to work.
What are you doing to create a great place to work
in home health care? We'd love to hear from you.
Send us your innovative ideas and we'll compile them
in a future issue of Leading Home Care Report. |

A New Coaching Process for your Sales Representatives ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ If you have a team of sales professionals in your
home care company, you'll want to provide them with
a complete package of sales training and support.
However, if you have only one or two sales reps, it
may be too expensive to bring in Michael G. to train
them, and it's time consuming to send them out for
training.
The alternative is a brand new sales coaching process from Leading Home Care. For the very reasonable fee of $795.00, each sales person will receive a copy of the e-manual, "Making the Approach: Advanced Sales Training for Home Care Professionals," a set of three audio CDs on the same topic, and six one-hour personal telephone sales coaching calls with Michael Giudicissi. Get that new sales rep off to a great start in 2007 by signing him or her up for Michael G.'s Sales Coaching Intensive. Call Diane West at 502-339-0653 to arrange a telephone conference with Michael. He'll take it from there! |
