A self-described "recovering academic" after 30 years in higher education, Ann is the former Dean, Associate Professor and Professor Emeritus of Lansing School of Nursing, Education and Health Sciences of Bellarmine University.

Ann is Immediate Past President of the Association for Applied and Therapeutic Humor (AATH).
