A recent article on How to Pick a Home Health Care Provider, by Donna Fuscaldo on Fox Business online provided a very positive testimonial for the Caregiver Quality Assurance(TM) program from Leading Home Care.

In the article, Ms. Fusacaldo was quoting David Goodman, CEO of Companion Connection Senior Care  in reporting that “An AARP study shows that 89% of seniors want to stay at home at all costs.  For someone who has been in their home for 50 years, it’s very hard to make the transition to go into a facility.”

In another quote, David says, “You should evaluate the training of a caregiver.  Candidates that are properly trained have more than 130 hours of training and have passed the Caregiver Quality Assurance(TM) or CQA testing, which is the benchmark for the industry to test the soft skills of the caregiver.  The CQA tests dependability, honesty, aggression, conscientiousness, and cognitive reasoning that allows agencies and consumers to know how a caregiver will react in certain situations.”

We appreciate David’s kind words about the effectiveness of the CQA program for selecting high quality caregivers.
