By now you know that we believe Other People’s Experience is one of the best ways to learn about running and growing a successful home care company.  Not only does it help to learn what has worked for other people, but you can also learn what has not worked for other companies.  It’s up to you to decide what strategies and tactics you would like to implement in your own company and marketplace.

In my job here at Leading Home Care, I personally take the most pride and find the most joy in providing the platforms for our clients and readers to have the opportunity to interact with and learn from each other.  That interaction can take place through one of our Mastermind Groups or by attending one of our Field Trips.

If you haven’t attended on of our Field Trips yet, I would encourage you to explore attending one in the Fall so that you can start implementing those new ideas and jump start your 2018.  If you’ve already attended a Field Trip or two, then you’ll be happy to know that we’ve added a new location in October that you don’t want to miss.

Coast to Coast in September and October

On September 19-20, we’re heading to Virginia Beach to Seniorcorp, where Tom Knox and Andy Tysinger are excited to welcome a new group to share their best strategies and to also talk about their expansion into the Richmond, VA market.

On October 18-19, we’ll be outside of Spokane, Washington at Family Home Care.  Jeff Wiberg and his team recently joined our Top 5% Mastermind Group and immediately offered to host a Field Trip.  We took him up on his gracious offer and are looking forward to going to the Northwest corner of the US.  Family Home Care has been in business for 51 years and has five locations in Washington and western Idaho.

What is a “Field Trip”?

A Home Care Field Trip is a unique opportunity for a small group of non-competing CEOs and owners to visit a successful ($7+ million) home care company for a day. We start with an opening dinner to give the attendees and host company an opportunity to get to know each other.  The Field Trip day consists of a

brief tour of the host company’s office, a presentation by the owner or CEO of the inner workings of the host company, including but not limited to marketing strategies, recruiting and retention strategies, office procedures, business growth and scalability strategies.  After lunch there’s an afternoon-long Q&A session and discussion.

We would love to have you join us in Virginia Beach or Spokane in the Fall.  It’s the perfect time of year to learn some new strategies that can be implemented at the end of the year or starting at the beginning of 2018.
