Our second Field Trip of 2014 will be to ElderCare 4 Families in Louisville, Kentucky on April 22-23, 2014.  ElderCare 4 Families is a $3+ million private duty company that has been in business for 30 years.

Jeff and Rita Pate are looking forward to hosting another wonderful group of owners into their offices so they can share with you exactly how they run their business.  Rita and Jeff founded ElderCare 4 Families because they wanted to provide personal care for people who demand the best resource available. “It’s important to find the right caregivers for our clients.  Personal care is about companionship and ensuring that relationship is what we try to do best.”  Their key purpose is to provide dignity, warmth and caring to their clients, combining caring hands and hearts for personalized care with a loving touch.

The Private Duty Field Trip is a unique experience where a small group of owners and administrators have the opportunity to spend a full day inside a highly successful non-medical, private pay company. They will show you through their offices, introduce you to key team members, describe their organization’s structure and show you their internal processes.

Then, you’ll have time to ask them any questions you have.  These incredible business owners are doing this out of the goodness of their hearts because they understand how important it is to have successful private duty home care companies throughout the country providing top of the line care and services to those who need it most.  They want to help you do what they have done…build a hugely successful company that makes a lasting impression on their clients, families, caregivers and office staff.

Artificial Intelligence in Home Care

I've been thinking about the impact of AI on Home Care. Three things happened this week that have totally shifted my awareness and thinking about Artificial Intelligence. First, I've been reading a new book that was recommended to me called "Reshuffle" by Sangeet Paul Choudary. He's a senior fellow at UC Berkley, and a strategic advisor…
