I’ve been thinking a lot …about Opportunities for Growth.

As you move actively into 2026, what are your goals for growth in the new year?

As I work with hundreds of Home Care CEOs each year at association conferences, corporate meetings, Home Care CEO Mastermind Groups, and Executive Briefings, I see one main area of interest:

“How do I grow my business?”

The data from our 2026 Future of Home Care Study tells us how over 300 industry leaders see the answer tot his question.

Top Five Opportunities for Growth

This year’s study shows some interesting new opportunities for growth for Home Care CEOs.

Number one on the list is the same as the past three years; Doing a much better job with your current business in your current marketplace.

But then the list changes.

Industry CEOs are saying that the next big opportunity is leverage technology to increase efficiency. Then we consider expanding into new geographic markets.

And then … using AI to increase speed, save time, and reduce costs.

The shift in opportunities for grow is toward technology and AI. And as we explore this with industry leaders, we are seeing a very high “talk to action ratio.” There is much more talk about technology and AI than there is action by Home Care companies.

Yes, as we work with AxisCare and other technology partners, we see some very interesting new developments in how technology, and particularly AI are being applied.

  • Look at your core operating systems and identify where greater consistency, automation, and use of technology or AI can improve efficiency.
  • Share this study with your leadership team and discuss your organization’s top pain points, focusing on what can be addressed immediately
  • Review the industry trends outlined in this report and determine which ones will most directly impact your agency over the next three to five years
  • Revisit your long-term vision and discuss how your goals for growth, profitability, and scale may need to evolve

There’s much more in the report, and I’m confident you will find it valuable, and worth your time to download the white paper and review the results.
