CHICAGO, March 21, 2024 /PRNewswire/ — Waud Capital Partners (“Waud Capital”), a growth-oriented middle-market private equity firm, announced today the acquisition of Senior Helpers, one of the national leaders in home care and wellness offerings for seniors. Waud Capital is acquiring Senior Helpers from Advocate Health, the third-largest nonprofit health system in the nation.

According to ongoing tracking of the franchise sector of Home Care by Leading Home Care … a Tweed Jeffries company, Senior Helpers is the 7th largest franchisor in Home Care with 256 franchise Locations (April 2023). There are 56 companies providing franchises in Home Care, with a total of 7,668 units.

A separate listing in the Franchise Times “Top 400 Franchises” list shows Senior Helpers at number 7 in revenue in 2023 with $387.243,000 in total revenue from 327 franchisees for an average of $1,184,229 per location.
