This week I was in Nashville, TN to present the opening keynote presentation for the Seniors Helping Seniors franchise conference. My topic was “Visioneering Home Care.”

I opened with these two questions:

  • What’s Your Desired Future?
  • If you could wave your magic wand and make your Home Care company anything you want it to be, what would it look like.

Do you remember the words of Walt Disney who said, “If you can dream it, you can achieve it?”

This holds true in Home Care. If you can create a clear mental picture of what you want your company to look like, and if you share that vision with your team, and if you develop specific, focused actions to get there, you can make your vision become reality.

I love the words of wisdom from Warren Bennis, the Founding Chair of The Leadership Institute at the University of Southern California who said, “Leadership is the capacity to translate vision into reality.”

How about you? As the leader of a growing, successful Home Care company, have you developed the capacity to translate your vision into your reality?

Leaders of the Home Care Mega Companies have a huge vision.

As you know, I spent a decade from 2012 t0 2024 founding and leading the Home Care CEO Forum. I was privileged to spend hundred of hours with the owners and CEOs of the members of the Top 5% Mastermind Group; ten companies who generated between $10 million and $50 million in annual revenue.

The number one lesson I learned from those leaders of top tier Home Care companies is that “Leaders of The Mega Companies have a huge vision.” They see themselves running a large, growing, profitable Home Care company that makes a difference in the lives of their clients, their caregivers, and their communities.

If You Could Wave Your Magic Wand …

So, when you think about your Home Care company five years from now, what will it look like?

If you could wave your magic wand and make your Home Care company anything you want it to be, what would it look like?

One of the ways we help Home Care leaders in the top tier of the industry develop their huge vision is through an “Executive Strategy Retreat.” This is an off-site gathering of your top team designed to lead you through the process of Visioneering Home Care.

We can plan, organize, and lead a strategy retreat just for you.

Or, we will invite you to our open Executive Strategy Retreat hosted by the Home Care Association of Florida in Early December. Stay tuned for details.
