Since 2003, Private Duty Today has grown into the largest readership newsletter dedicated exclusively to owners of non-medical home care companies. Over 6000 people receive our biweekly e-mail newsletter.

In December, we conducted a poll of readers asking for feedback about the most important topics in 2008, as well as the media that made you most comfortable.

Among the top of the list was the desire for an interactive community where readers could respond and share information. Private Duty Today — the Blog is the first step toward this new community. We have big plans for 2008, and this blog will be the springboard.

We hope you will enjoy participating. Your participation is critical to the success of this blog, so we encourage you to post your comments, ideas, praises and, yes, even criticism. In the beginning, you’ll be able to comment using your Gmail account, any e-mail address, or even post anonymously.

Jason Tweed, editor of Private Duty Today, and Stephen Tweed, CEO of Leading Home Care (publisher of Private Duty Today) will be regular contributors. Comments in the post to buy any readers in response to the topic posts. Additionally, if you would like to write an article for the PDT blog, e-mail us directly at editor@privatedutytoday.com with a brief description of your topic.
