I’ve been thinking about Where Passion Meets Talent.

I was in Kutztown Pennsylvania this past week attending the opening of an art show for my granddaughter, Ainsley Tweed. She is graduating from Kutztown University of PA with a degree in art, and this was the grand opening of her senior art show.

Ainsley loves cats. And her art talent is in ceramics. And so, her show was a wonderful collection of ceramic cats. Over her four years at Kutztown we have watched her talent grow, and her social skills develop. We were amazed at what we saw in the gallery of her show.

My wife and business partner, Elizabeth Jeffries, CSP, CPAE, walked into the show and immediately fell in love with the first piece she saw, a yellow cat with pink long coat and bow tie holding a pen for the guest book. Elizabeth immediately became Ainsley’s first paying art customer by buying the yellow cat.

Ainsley will be graduating in a few weeks, and we had some wonderful conversation about how she can combine her love of cats with her talent for art and particularly ceramics. We explored ways she can combine her talent and passion in her work.

What is Your Passion? and What is your Talent?

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have any talent for art. I love art, and we have seen some amazing art in our travels around the world.

My passion is Home Care, and Home Care entrepreneurs, and my talent is communication … speaking, writing, coaching.

It’s been a long journey of learning and trying new ideas, but we have built Leading Home Care and The Home Care CEO Forum into businesses that have had a positive impact on the Home Care industry, and leaders of Home Care companies. While I sold the Home Care CEO Forum to my friend and colleague, Jensen Jones in 2023, I am not Retiring, I’m ReWiring. I’m still finding new ways to apply my passion for Home Care with my talent for communication.

Sharing Your Passion and Your Talent

As a leader in Home Care, one of your roles is to develop the other members of your team. And that means sharing your passion and your talents with these team members.

How do you go about building your team?

How do you go about developing the managers in your company?

How do you go about crafting your company culture?

Let’s have a conversation about new ways you can grow your business and get ready for the future by sharing your passion and your talents with your team members.
